Bringing God's Grace to You
Hello All
Allow me to introduce myself. Holly Ridge Ministries (HRM) encourages all Christians and those curious about Christians to embrace Jesus. Believing in Jesus is the most important decision you will ever make. I post encouraging information on Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin every Monday and Friday. A blog on a Christian-related topic is published on those sites on Friday.
I developed HRM because I feel a calling as a Christian writer. After a career as a newspaper reporter and a magazine editor, I have skills in this area.
I am also a graduate of Indianapolis' Amazing Grace Christian Church's Ministry Training Program under Rev. Dr. Preston T. Adams, and I am nearing completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Divinity at Christian Leaders Institute.
I attend Manhollow Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dante Murphy.

I live with my wife, Wanda, in Coastal North Carolina. We have a daughter and two grandsons.
My Testimony
Why am I a Christian? Well, Christianity is the only way the world makes sense to me.
I believe that "In the beginning, God create the Heavens and the Earth," (Genesis 1:1). And the Bible further outlines what is, and what's to come.
I was introduced to God as a child at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in South Bend, Indiana, by the Rev. Dave Davis.
I've never had a dramatic moment when I went from nonbeliever to believer, as best as I can remember. And certainly there were times (like college) when being a good Christian wasn't always at the forefront of my mind.

But I always got back on track.

Now that I am retired, spreading the Good News about Christ is what I do, and building an online ministry.

I was a newspaper reporter, magazine editor and nonprofit executive, so, hopefully, some of those skills transfer to Christian writing and online evangelism. I graduated from ministry training with Dr. Preston Adams at Amazing Grace Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. And I'm nearing completion of a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Christian Leaders Institute.
